We Are Our Children's Voice

Parents are the voice of our children, both legally and morally. We are responsible for keeping them safe, healthy, and raising them to be good people. It is a solemn duty that we welcome without reward or compensation.

In recent months we have attempted to make our voice heard as the San Juan Unified School District made critical decisions about our children’s education and success. We were ignored as the district proceeded without our input or feedback. We cannot allow that to continue.

Last week a group of parents came together to form the San Juan Parents Association, a parent-led nonprofit that will advocate for the success and well-being of our children. San Juan Parents will achieve our mission through education, training, civic engagement, and other political action.
